This notice covers the Sierra SCM website, including Sierra Product Radar early-access requests. For privacy questions or requests, contact contact@sierra-scm.com.
Website visits
The site is hosted on Vercel. Delivering and securing web pages can involve technical information such as an IP address, browser information, requested URLs and request times. Hosting providers may process this information to operate, troubleshoot and protect their services. See Vercel’s privacy notice for its own processing practices.
Cookies & browser storage
The current website code does not set advertising or analytics cookies, run visitor-tracking scripts, or save enquiry details in local storage. Navigation and the brief helper work without saving a cookie preference. Hosting or security services may process technical requests independently of these page scripts.
If optional analytics, advertising tools or other tracking features are introduced, we will review this notice and add appropriate privacy controls before enabling them.
Your brief & enquiries
The Product Validation brief helper prepares text in your browser. It does not automatically send the form to Sierra or save it on our server. “Copy brief” puts the text on your device’s clipboard; “Prepare email brief” passes it to your email app for you to review and send. Your browser or email app may retain form information or drafts according to its settings.
If you send an email or contact us through another channel, we receive the contact details, message and attachments you choose to share. We use them to respond, discuss a potential project and manage agreed work. Please do not send sensitive personal information or confidential third-party material through an initial enquiry.
Product Radar early-access requests
If you request a Product Radar trial, we collect your name, work email, product description and any optional market, audience or research question you provide. We use these details to contact you, clarify the research scope and arrange the trial. Requesting research does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Please do not include confidential product details or sensitive personal information in this initial form.
The form sends your request to Formspree, our form collection provider. Formspree may also process technical request information for delivery and security under its privacy policy. The website does not save your request in cookies or browser storage. We keep request records only as long as needed to handle the enquiry, trial and related obligations; you may ask us to access, correct or delete your information using the contact address above.
Resource downloads
When an email download form is enabled, we collect your email address, the resource requested, its article path and your acknowledgement of the download notice. We use these details to provide access and handle questions about that download. Requesting a tool does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
The form sends this information to Formspree, our form collection provider. Formspree may also process technical request information for delivery and security under its own privacy policy. An unconnected preview form does not send or save your email. The website does not save your download email in cookies or browser storage.
The downloaded workbooks and worksheets run locally. This website does not receive the supplier names, prices, test results or other project data you enter into them. If you choose to share a completed file with Sierra, we handle it as correspondence about your enquiry or project.
Providers, retention & your choices
Hosting and communication providers may handle information needed to deliver their services. Sierra is based in Guangzhou, China; information you send may be handled in China and in countries where our providers operate. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law.
We retain correspondence for as long as needed to handle the enquiry, manage the business relationship and meet applicable legal obligations. You can contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or raise an objection or concern. Applicable rights and any retention requirements depend on the circumstances and relevant law.
Download request records are kept only while needed to provide the resource and handle related questions. To request deletion of your download email or a record held through Formspree, contact Sierra at the email address above.
External sources & updates
Product Radar links to independent communities and platforms. Following a link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. Listing a source does not give Sierra access to your account there.
We will update this page when the website’s data practices change. Submitting a Product Radar request does not start automatic web research or generate a report.
